Introduction to SEL (using Bounce Back) workshop: pay now OR have an invoice sent to your school
This NESA accredited workshop provides teachers with an overview of social and emotional learning. They are introduced to positive and educational psychological theories and are given practical advice about:
applying the theories to their own lives in order to enhance their own wellbeing
teaching explicit social and emotional skills in their classrooms using the Bounce Back! program;
integrating social and emotional and critical thinking skills into lessons across all subject areas; and
embedding the elements of social and emotional learning across the school using the PROSPER framework (Noble & McGrath, 2015).
Participants will be given practical action plans so that they may introduce SEL to their classroom the next day using a variety of resources and ideas, along with a set of conversation prompt cards to use in the classroom straight away.
